While studying in Ube, exchange students have a choice of staying in the dormitory, apartments, homestay, or private rental houses or flats in town. We, however, strongly recommend that they choose the dormitory, which was built mainly for their sake and is called College House, because it is safe and clean, and most of all because the accommodation fee is fairly reasonable. It is 15,000 yen a month for overseas students when they choose College House.
The College House is less than a five-minute walk from the College and fifteen minutes from the University. There are three private single rooms upstairs and a large lounge-kitchen downstairs. It is fully furnished including electrical appliances. It is close to a bus line, supermarket, indoor swimming school, restaurants, and the regular student dorms.
Breakfast and dinner are available at the dining room in the dormitory next to the College House. Or exchange students may cook for themselves, for there is a well-equipped kitchen in the dormitory as well as in the College House. As for lunch, they may have Lunch at the cafeteria either in the University or the College.
